PolkaBridge May 2022 Update
PolkaBridge May 2022 update is out! We have several updates to tell you about in this yet another busy month. We have completed the updated user interface on our website, completed our 10th burn, formed more partnerships, decided to migrate tokens to Binance Smart Chain (BSC), made our presence known on LinkedIn, and got PBR listed on the Hoo exchange and the BitKeep wallet. Let’s see this month’s recap!
PolkaBridge New User Interface!
We have redesigned our website to display the new theme. This makes the user interface clean and minimalistic. The all-new black user interface displays the most important information in the front with the right color balancing and without delving into unnecessary complexity. Since we have launched a couple of products since the last time we did our website, we thought that we might as well adopt the new theme to celebrate the fact that we have come so far!
State of the Tokenomics: PolkaBridge 10th Burn
PolkaBridge completed the 10th monthly PBR burn on May 13 worth around $200,000. We burb 1 million PBR tokens every month to reduce circulating supply and cause the value of existing tokens to rise. After the 10th burn, the remaining circulating supply is 48 million. The max supply is 78 million and the total burned supply until now has been 22 million.
PolkaBridge x MetaFi Partnership
PolkaBridge entered into a partnership with MetaFi on May 05 to allow for the integration of the MetaFi initiatives with our ecosystem. MetaFi plans to become a metaverse infrastructure service platform providing tools and expertise to make it a reality. They would particularly utilize our launchpad to fund new projects and allow investors the opportunity to invest early stage.
PolkaBridge x Crypto.in
Crypto.in has entered into a strategic partnership with PolkaBridge on May 10. The crypto investment community is likely to invest in the PolkaBridge Launchpad and INO startup projects and offers a reliable source of new capital entry into the ecosystem.
PolkaBridge x Cronos World
We also announced a partnership with Cronos World on May 14 — a multi-utility platform that’s working on developing the infrastructure for the Cronos blockchain, they want to collaborate with us so one day we will be able to support the Cronos blockchain also. It’s an emerging blockchain, which is likely to play an important role in the upcoming multi-chain blockchain environment.
PolkaBridge x Unicorn Ventures
Unicorn Ventures also became a strategic PolkaBridge partner on May 17 for the reason that PolkaBridge Launchpad features some of the most vetted out and promising crypto projects in the entire community, also we have a protection mechanism in which the investors are bailed out in case the token launch doesn’t go as planned or there is a rapid decline in its price.
LinkedIn Presence
As of May 19, we have joined LinkedIn to make our presence known to the wider traditional financial and enterprise world, moving past our sole focus on crypto communities via our existing social media channels. PBR Coming To Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
We have also decided to bring the PBR tokens to the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) ecosystem because of the high fees on the Ethereum mainnet and on the community’s request. Even though the majority of our liquidity remains on Ethereum, it’s better to offer users another choice until our L2 integrations are ready.
PBR Listing On The Hoo Exchange
PBR has also been listed on the Hoo exchange as of May 25, this will result in more liquidity and trading options for our community. You can trade it against the Tether stablecoin USDT on the exchange, this is in line with our vision of making PBR available readily.
BitKeep Wallet Integration
BitKeep has also integrated the option to store PBR tokens in its wallet on May 30, now you can store PBR tokens on BitKeep wallets on Android, iOS, and Chrome! BitKeep has been a rising star in the wallet segment lately and its encouraging that they see the utility for PBR tokens and have decided to integrate it.
Outlanders IDO
On May 30, Outlanders confirmed their plans to host their Initial Decentralized Offering (IDO) on the PolkaBridge Launchpad. It’s an attempt at developing an open-world MMORPG combining GameFi and Move to Earn mechanisms. This is the first blockchain-based gaming initiative which is being designed keeping the non native users in mind and will likely contribute to onboarding of more crypto participants.
