The world of decentralized finance is constantly evolving, and PolkaBridge is one platform that is leading the way. In March 2023, PolkaBridge experienced a period of significant growth and development, which is a testament to its commitment to delivering innovative and user-friendly solutions to the blockchain community. One of the key factors that contributed to PolkaBridge’s success in this month were the events leading upto the release of PolkaBridge decentralized P2P marketplace. These updates focused on improving the user interface, enhancing the security of the platform, and streamlining process.

PolkaBridge Community Call

The PolkaBridge community call was held on Mar 05, it’s a periodic event that we organize to inform our community about the current progress and the direction of the PolkaBridge ecosystem. Our team members Tanishq Dhawan (Business Development head) and Sonali Rawat (Marketing head) lead the session and answered community’s questions after giving updates.

PolkaBridge Focus On Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We announced last month about our initial foray into artificial intelligence (AI) research and finding/developing methods to integrate it into our products. For instance, we want to focus on portfolio management, improving UI/UX, enhancing security and aiding with scalability. We would like to make the user’s experience more personalized and better adapted to their needs. PolkaBridge team continues to focus on AI technologies and the community is likely to see more experimentation in this area in the future.

Partnership With DAOStarter

PolkaBridge also announced a strategic partnership with DAOStarter on Mar 07. DAO Starter is a blockchain based Initial Decentralized Offering (IDO) platform that enables crowdfunding for Web3/crypto projects. The platform provides a suite of tools and services to help crypto projects get off the ground. We hope that this partnership will allow both projects and their communities to work together for mutual benefit.

P2P DEX Development Update

On Mar 08, we provided a new development update for our decentralized P2P marketplace. We announced a new order sorting mechanism (by rating, time, price etc.), online/offline to verify active traders, ticket feature to request help from PolkaBridge team and fixing of additional bugs. It was slated to be launched by the end of the month of March.

PolkaBridge Decentralized P2P Timeline

On Mar 15, we released a timeline of the PolkaBridge decentralized P2P marketplace launch. First event was redeeming the points gathered by the community in the quest campaign (for completing various tasks on the new marketplace) to PBR token rewards on Mar 21–23, followed by PBR token rewards distribution on Mar 24–27. We actually doubled the rewards leading upto the mainnet launch seeing the community’s response!

Next, the internal testing of the mainnet commenced on Mar 28 — Apr 02 and the long awaited final mainnet launch on Apr 03. At the time of this writing, we have accomplished all that and launched the PolkaBridge decentralized P2P marketplace mainnet. You can read an overview of the new product here.

PolkaBridge Twitter Space

We organized a Twitter Space on Mar 16 to talk further about AI integration, P2P DEX and general state of the PolkaBridge ecosystem. It was titled “Scaling DeFi with PolkaBridge” and headed by our team members Tanishq Dhawan (Business Development head) and Sonali Rawat (Marketing head).

Mover Twitter Space

We also held a Twitter Space with Mover on Mar 23. It’s a rapid liquidity bridge connecting EVM and non-EVM chains. From Movers, we were joined by Maxim Sultakov (CEO & Founder) and from our team, we were represented by Tanishq Dhawan (Business Development head) and Sonali Rawat (Marketing head). Together, we discussed both projects and areas of cooperation.

PolkaBridge Meme Contest

PolkaBridge Meme contest was held on Mar 26 where participants were encouraged to showcase their creativity by designing and submitting memes related to PolkaBridge, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platformecosystem. The contest offered a fun way for community members to engage with the project and spread awareness about its features and benefits.
